Barcode System         are used at the airports all around the world to increase the accuracy of sorting of baggage and reduce the risk of lost luggage. The new generation of barcode system has very high read rates, integrated with a tilt-tray sorter. It has a very low installation and maintenance costs, and has the ability to monitor scanner performance. These automation systems are referred as baggage handling systems which include a barcode system which assigns different barcode to baggage and gives them separate identities, traceable at the touch of a mouse.  Barcode System has decreased the rate of baggage loss at the airports all around the world which has decreased the rate of customer discomforts. Baggage is placed on a conveyor which is allocated to a specific flight. There are a lot of Conveyor belts all over the terminals depending upon the size of the airport. The baggage automation systems automatically determine the chosen location of the baggage and then place it over there. This is due to the barcode tags placed over each baggage which is read by the scanner and the machine readable data tells the automation systems that what is to be done with this baggage.
